Team Captains, Players, Volunteers and Brothers
Following is a recap of the winners of the Two Flight's, Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin and Silent Auction from yesterday's Tournament.
However, before I do that I wanted to extend a sincere thank you to all those that participated in any way to a very successful tournament that will enable the Knights to continue our Charitable work in the greater Wake Forest community!
The weather was spectacular, plenty of food and drink, the course was in great shape and a most enjoyable time was had by all. I am not sure how many hamstrings were tweaked, shoulders popped or other 'minor' injuries but there were no 9-1-1 calls reported!
Take a look at the back of your Program and you'll see what the 2019 proceeds allowed us to do and be assured we'll be able to continue and grow, in the months ahead, because of the generosity of our many Sponsors: Diamond, Gold, Silver, Beverage Carts, Hole Sponsors and Players.
We are tallying the final financial results and we expect to Net over $12,000 from the Tournament exceeding last year's total of $8,000!
Considering this most challenging year with COVID-19 and the impact to everyone's daily rhythm of life, the results are most humbling.
We want to acknowledge our Pastor, Father Bill-John, for participating and taking the time out of his busy day to thank all the players and volunteers along with Fr. Ramirez and Fr. Schuetz who joined us as well.
We had Brother Eric Pasarin roaming and taking a thousand pictures and once he pulls that together, we'll share as well!
I'll also be contacting all the Team Captains to capture lessons learned so we can consider improvements for next year and mark your calendar: we booked October 5, 2021 as the next Tournament date at the Heritage Golf Club.
